Well…it’s been a minute.

When I finished visiting all 63 U.S. national parks in 2023, I wasn’t really sure what was next. Exploring that final park felt like the end of a chapter I’d been writing for a long time. I was incredibly proud of what I had accomplished, but I was also ready to switch things up a bit.

Over the past three years, I met the love of my life, got married in Maui, explored parts of Europe, and completed another goal of visiting all 50 U.S. states. Throughout all those experiences, I was reminded that adventure doesn’t always have to mean a national park. Sometimes it’s found on a quiet beach, in a small mountain town, or down a street you’ve never wandered before.

Even with all my new adventures, the parks were never far from my mind. I still find myself wanting to help friends plan trips, scrolling through old photos, and thinking, I should write about that.

So, here I am.

Coming back to this blog feels like catching up with an old friend. This little corner of the internet started as a way for me to document my journey of visiting every national park, and while that chapter is complete, I don’t think I’m done talking-or writing-about them.

Going forward, I want to share the things I wish I’d had while planning my own trips: detailed itineraries, tips to help you make the most of each park, rankings based on different themes (because let’s be honest-the “best” park depends on what you’re looking for), and whatever else comes my way.

If you’ve been here since the beginning, thank you for sticking around. If you’re new, I’m so glad you found your way here. Either way, I’m excited to see where this next chapter leads, and I hope you’ll come along for the ride.

P.S.- here’s a look back at the past three years, according to my camera roll 😉
